Better late than never ...
Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't recall making any last year, but I've got a couple this year. I'll tell you in a bit under 12 months if I kept them or not!
What did you do in 2009 that you never thought you would do? Can't think of anything ... but I'm sure there was stuff.
How did you earn your keep? As a workforce planner, but I did change jobs!
Did anyone close to you give birth? I got a baby nephew :)
Did anyone close to you die? Family friend, Eric.
What countries did you visit? New Caledonia and Vanuatu
What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? The ability to put myself first before others ... was only the last couple months of 2009 that I actually started doing that.
What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? 30th October. My nephew was born.
What was your biggest achievement of the year? Changing jobs.
What was your biggest failure? Yeah, let's not go there.
Did you suffer illness or injury? Pneumonia, arthritis in my ankles.
What was the best thing you bought? I don't know.
Whose behavior merited celebration? My brother's.
Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? There were a few.
Did you have any encounters with the police? Only if you count that I know two people who are police officers and I said saw them this year.
Where did most of your money go?
Here, there and everywhere.
What did you get really, really, really excited about? My nephew, changing jobs.
Compared to this time last year, are you:(a) happier or sadder? A lot happier.
(b) thinner or fatter? Fatter.
(c) richer or poorer? Poorer.
What do you wish you’d done more of? Saving money (I think I always answer this?)
What do you wish you’d done less of? Spending money (I think I always answer with this too!)
What pop culture event will you remember 2009 for? Michael Jackson.
How did you spend Christmas? With family
Did you fall in love in 2009? No.
What was your favorite TV program? House, Lie To Me, Mercy and Glee.
Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Yes.
What was the best book you read? I can't even remember what I've read this year!
What was your greatest musical discovery? Glee.
What did you want and get? A new job.
What did you want and not get? A resolution.
What was your favorite film of this year? The Hangover.
What was your favourite night out? Full Moon Hotel with girls from work.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 31 and I went to the pub with a whole heap of friends and co-workers.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009? Same same.
What kept you sane?
A few things ... I am a lot stronger than I was last year, but I also think The Favourites helped a lot.
What political issue stirred you the most?
It's not an issue per se, but the inauguration of Barack Obama ... I don't know why!
What do you hope the next decade will bring? More change and a whole lot of fun.
