YOU CAN DO IT - I CAN DO IT!!

Welcome to my weight loss journal.

I started my weight loss "ordeal" almost 2 years ago. At that stage I sat at 95kg, and I'm also 180cm.

I am now sitting at 78kg, and plan to get down to 70kg. I had recently been 76kg, but then gained 2kg back. It has been a long hard treck, but I plan to get there. Not to just feel better about myself, but because I -know- it is better for your body and your wellbeing to be fitter and slimmer.

I am currently a size 12. When I started, I was a 16, bordering on a size 18. My body has definitely had a lot of changes in the past few years, and I have heaps of clothes of different sizes!!

One big thing that has really helped me out, was by joining the army reserves. I have to keep fit, otherwise I'll be kicked out if I don't pass my 6 monthly fitness assessment.

Anyway, hoping today will be the first weigh in, if not it will happen on Thursday. I started with a personal trainer last week. I did 2 cardio sessions by myself, and 2 weights/cardio sessions with him last week. Hopefully having him will keep me even more motivated.

Wish me luck!
